This is the first bag of instant noodles which I've tried is no saturated fat and trans fat. It's a healthy food which is low-fat and the rice noodles are non-fried. The price is a little bit higher than other instant noodles I've tried. The size isn't so big and I just half-full and I think I will feel hungry very fast. The soup isn't greasy or strongly flavored and the color of the soup is light. There are a small bag of dehydrated vegetable inside the package with carrot, green onion, green pea and corn. Although the outside of the package mentioned as abalone flavored, actually I didn't taste any flavor as abalone.

Do you know...
-Rice vermicelli sometimes also known as rice noodles or rice sticks. They should not be confused with cellophane noodles, which is another type of vermicelli.
-Bun noodles are made of rice and water but some elasticity is added by way of a bit of the older batch of dough. The soft dough is pushed through a perforated container into a pot of boiling water to cook, then fished out the water and rinsed quickly to cool. The result is chewy-soft. Dried bun noodles contain some tapioca starch to mimic the chewy texture.
-Canh Chua is a sour soup indigenour to the Mekong River region of southrtnn Vietnam. It is typically made with fish from the Mekong River, pineapple, tomatoes(and also sometimes other vegetables such as okra), and bean sprouts, in a tamarind-flavored broth. It's garnished with the lemony-scented herb, carmelized garlic, and chopped scallions, as well as other herbs, according to the specific variety of canh chua.

The noodles is "Ichiban". In Japanese, "Ichiban" means delicious. Concluding all aspects of the nutrition fact, this kind of instant noodles is acceptable. For the noodle part, the noodles are thick and elastic even dipping in the soup for a while. The smell is elegant just like cooked rice. The soup is a little sweet. It's my first time to try this kind of instant noodles, and also the first time to try the instant bean curd with instant noodles. The bean curd is juicy and fairly sweet. The price is just $.59, I think it's worthy since the size of this bag of instant noodles is quite bag, and I won't feel hungry so fast.

Do you know...
It's the first that I tried bean curd. Do you know what is it and they come from? I'm curious about that, so I do some research...
Bean curd is anther name for tofu, a product made from soybeans, and sometimes other legumes as well. To make bean curd, a cook curdles soy milk and presses the resulting soybean curds into molds to firm up. The result is a block of white, neutrally flavores material which can be used in a wide assortment of dishes.
There are 2 basic types f bean curd defined by two countries, Japan and China. For Japanese style tofu is silken and tends to fall apart as it is worked with, making it a great choice for dishes in which fragmentx of bean curd are desired. It is also used in vegan baked goods. For chinese style tofu is firm, and will hold its shape as it is worked with cooked.
Someone says, it's confusing chinese tofu is called bean curd, while Japanese style is called tofu. For my opinion, I think the taste of Japanese style tofu is usually sweet, and it can be made for sushi. For Chinese style, it usually tastes salty with sesame oil and vinegar.

Except the part of saturated fat, I think this kind of instant noodles can be acceptable. Also, accordind to recommnded daily intake table, it's better for us to absorb sodium less than 2,400 mg, I think we should eat not more than 1 big of this kind of instant noodles. When I was cooking the noodles, my sister said it smelt some oily but I don't think so. For taste, the soup is delicious, and I never leave any in the plate.

Do you know...
For the purpose of hoping visitor of Japan know more about the invetion of instant noodles and and the inventor, Momofuku Ando that he got the idea for this invention from his daily life, there is a museum called Instant Ramen Museum in Osaka, Japan. In My Cup Noodles Noodles Factory on the first floor the second exhibition hall in the museum, people just need to pay 300 JPY, approximately 3.28 USD and buy one more cup and wash their hands, then they can design the cup make a cup noodle by themselves. It's meaningful and educational for children and also make the family relationship close through the process of interaction between children and parents.

Nissin Cup Noodles Chicken Flavor By LG Phone

Today...
Busy calms down just for today, after the work from yesterday, my body wants to say "STOP". I think I got the Cataplexy, since I went to school at 8:00am this morning, I got in "coma" in library till 2:00pm. Luckly, I didn't miss my class, when I finished my class, I went to cafeteria to have my Nissin Cup Noodles. It's different from yesterday that I tried chicken flavor today. I ate it at 4:45pm for my snack and then typing my blog...

It's similar rating except the part of health, I didn't gave any stars. For adults and children 4 or more years of age, The daily value for saturated fat should be no more than 20%, also for the content of sodium, it's higher than the cup noodles I ate yesterday. I recommend people don't eat more than 2 cups of this kind cup noodles for one day. Just think that 2 cups is OK, and considering the size of it, it' isn't enough for big dude, but for me it's OK! Also, it contains some amount of cholesterol, even the amount is little, it isn't good for health especially cardiocasculum. It tastes good and I like the dried corn, dried carrot and dried green pea in it. Just keep in mind, don't eat so much than 2 cups! For the recommend cooking direction, I see the bold letters "Do Not Microwave". However, I think it's OK but just don't cook it for so long in microave. Form my experience, if you cook so long in microwave, the water will pour out and it's dangerous. However,If no microwave for it, I absolutely think it's bad tasting because the noodles will be tough.

Do you know...
The material for cup container for Nissin Cup Noodles is also contain styroform. There are always someone say, don't put your food with styrofoam container in microwave. However, is it true? Is it save to microwave food with a styrofoam container? The answer can be yes, but also no for some.
Contrary to popular belief, some styrofoam and other polystyrene containers can safely be used in the microwave. Just follow the same rule you follow for other plastic containers and check the label.

Today...
I got a cold today since I didn't get enough sleep last night, actually it should say this daybreak, not last night. Just slept for 4 hours and then woke up to school and continued to do my assignment. Busy for day to day, I think I can join the 30 worldvision that I didn't eat anything almost 30 hours to concentrate my work. However, I am still going to run my experience. I had a Nissin Cup Noodles Beef Flavor to include my breakfast, lunch and half of dinner today,
I bought from Big Lots and brought it from home to school. I ate it at 5:05PM, and I felt hungry very fast.

Although the cup noodles seems to be cheap of the price, the amount of the cup noodles is little, since I ate it at 5:05pm, I didn't full actually and I felt hungry as soon as 7:00pm. Moreover, it's small size, but its amount of sodium excessed than other large size Cup noodles which I ate on last weekend. Also, the content of Saturated Fat is as same as a big bag of instant noodles. Wow! the daily value of iron even is trouble of a big bag instant noodles. I like the inside dried carrot, dried corn and dried meatball. There's a tip for taste, as I compare the Nissin noodles between made in U.S.A and made in other countries such as China and Japan, although it's the same brand from Nissin, but the taste of noodle is different. For the product of U.S.A, if you want to eat it enjoyable, you need to put it in microwave for a while after you pour some water into the cup. For my experience, if you put hot water to it, I recommend you to put it in microwave for 1 minute. If you put cool water to it, I recommend you to put it in microwave for 3~4 minutes before you eat.

Do you know...
Nissin have two manufacting facilities in U.S.A: Gardena, California and Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Nissin Cup Noodles is in a styrofoam cup and not cardboard since the cups can prevent heat from escaping and protect the consumer. The styrofoam is designated as recyclable that is different from cupboard cups.

This weekend, I tried two kinds of bowl noodles, the first one is Nissin Bowl Noodles Rich & Savory Chicken Flavor and it's made in U.S.A. Because of mum's job, she just went home twice a month. I think she must worry about we have nothing to eat because she bought two dozens of this kind of cup noodles from Costco. Yes, there are a large amount of instant noodles in my home but totally mum said that it's value.
The second kind of cup noodles is Ve Wong KUNG-FU Artificial Szechuan Pork flavor cup noodles. I bought it from Marina Grocery and I ate it for my breakfast on Sunday morning. It's made in Taiwan. However, I felt hungry soon after ate it.

The first one, Nissin Bowl Noodles Rich & Savory is the best cup noodles made in U.S.A. I have tried. Since my mum bought it from Costco, it's quite valuable. Also, it tastes good and there are some dried vegetables in it such as Dried corn, dried carrot flake and dried cabbage flake. The second one, I felt quite disappointed on it. It tastes not good and when I was eating and it smelled like plastic bags. Also, the soup is so oily. Compare with them, I think the first one is better. Moreover, I found that the design of American cup noodles usually need to cook in microave, but you don't need for this action in other countries such as China.

Do you know...
Nissin launched the world's first instant noodles product, Chikin Ramen (chicken-flavored instant ramen) in Tokyo, and another milestone was reached in 1971 when Nissin introduced the Cup Noodless, instant noodles in a waterproof strofoam container that could be used to cook the noodles. Further innovation include adding dried vegetables to the sup, creating a complete instant soup dish.
Nowadays, cup noodles are common produced from different countries in the world such as Brazil, China, Finland, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, Mexico, Philippines, South Korea, Thailand and United States.

The price is acceptable and the noodles size is quite big. Even I didn't put other ingredient on it, it still tasted good! Compared with the Miso instant noodles which I ate yesterday, this one is better because it seems to be more healthy. The content of saturated fat and sodium is acceptable that it isn't so high. Also, It includes some vitamin A & C.

Do you know...
Instant miso soup is available in single-serving packets, and generally contains dried wakame and tofu, soy beans that reconstitute rapidly on the addition of hot water. These are popular in the Japanese workplace, where miso soup can be made with lunch as easily as green tea, and using the same water.
The photo below is a small box of instant miso paste that I bought from Marukai Market in Cupertino. It remains only half, and I don't remember how much it is, but I link the website under the sources.
